I can't believe that Derek is over 6 months old now. He is such a funny little guy. He loves to have the attention on him and he can be quite the little charmer. He is working on crawling right now. He will go up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. Most of the time he ends up pushing backwards but he is getting there. Rachel is his little coach and crawls around by Derek to show him how. Owen likes helping too but he makes sure his toys stay out of Derek's reach because as Owen says, "Derek slobbers on everything."
This was the best picture I could get of him trying to crawl. He would lay down and watch me whenever I pulled out the camera.

What a cutie. Owen is smart to protect his toys from the slobber baby. I love that Rachel demonstrates how to crawl for Derek. She really loves her baby brother.
I know... our babies are growing up! Hayden is not doing even anything remotely like crawling... he can sit up but usually cries when I make him. Did I mention that we miss you guys?! I loved having you here close to us so I hope we get to see you soon! And tell Owen good job on spelling his name backwards.. He is a smartie!
He is getting so big. I love seeing pictures of your family. We sure miss you guys!!
