The kids decided what we were eating for dinner tonight. They were very specific on the menu and we ate picinic style. 
We ate pb & j sandwiches (heart-shaped of course), with apples and popcorn. Owen and Rachel insisted on a dessert. They helped me make very big green chocolate chip cookies, which we finished off with blue milk. Most of the time I am ready to pull my hair out when the kids "help" me make cookies but everything went very smoothly. We all enjoyed our wonderful dinner.
Derek woke up from his nap just as we finished making the cookies. He nibbled on some toys as we ate our feast.

What a cute family and what a cute mommy to let her kids decide exacally what they wanted to eat! We have our curtains up now and I love them!
Hey Melissa! I have been horrible about blogging and checking blogs... I blame it on being BUSY! You probably know the feeling! I love your cute little kiddos and I can't wait to see little Derek... he is getting so big just like my Hayden. Derek seems to look more like Joel than your other two... so in a way I think he looks like Hayden. It will be fun to see them together. I should call you one of these days but I figure you are busy:) no excuses though! I miss you guys!
